Amyris
Josh Leng has worked for four companies in their career. Josh began at FibroGen, Inc. in 2000 as an Associate Engineer in Process Development. In 2003, they moved to Chiron Corporation, where they worked as an Engineer/Specialist in Pilot Plant/Process Development. In 2007, they took a position at XOMA as a Scientist in Process Development. Finally, in 2008, they joined Amyris as Senior Director of Process Development and Engineering. In this role, they lead a group of fermentation scientists and engineers and oversees the pilot plant team. Josh has extensive experience in fermentation process development, process control, project leadership, and recovery development.
Josh Leng attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
