Samantha Marinkovich

Samantha Marinkovich has a diverse work experience. Samantha started their career in 2016 as a Cashier at Sharetea. In the same year, they became a Student Assistant and Summer Conference Clerk at UC Berkeley Housing and Dining Services. In 2017, they held multiple positions, including Library Student Employee at Kresge Engineering Library, Social Committee Member at AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Vice President, Fundraising Chair, and Social Chair at Alpha Chi Sigma - Sigma Chapter, and Logistics Team Member at UC Berkeley Biofuels Technology Club. In 2018, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Wenjun Zhang Lab at UC Berkeley, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, as well as a Golden Bear Orientation Mentor at UC Berkeley New Student Services. In 2019, they were a Purification and Chemical Process Development Intern at Amyris. Currently, they are a Process Engineer 2, Process Engineer 1 in Downstream Process Development, and Associate Scientist 1 in Downstream Process Development at Amyris.

Samantha Marinkovich attended Troy High School from 2012 to 2016. Samantha then went on to the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. In 2018, they began attending Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and is still attending. Samantha is also currently enrolled at California State University - East Bay, where they are working towards a Master of Business Administration.
