Wilson Chau

Wilson Chau has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2000. Wilson began their career as an NSF Summer Internship at IBM Almaden in 2000, followed by a CPIMA Summer Internship at IBM Almaden in 2001. In 2003, they became a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Cruz. From 2008 to 2011, Wilson worked as a Manufacturing Scientist and Research Associate at DSM. Wilson then worked as an Associate Scientist 2 and Associate Scientist 3 at Amyris from 2011 to 2018. In 2021, Wilson became a Scientist at CooperVision and is currently a Senior Associate Scientist at Amyris since 2022.

Wilson Chau received their Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2008. Wilson also took courses at UC Berkeley Extension.
