Dr. Vernon Alvarez is Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Amytrx and oversees the company’s research and drug development efforts, providing strategic and operational expertise. Dr. Alvarez has more than 30 years of R&D experience in signal transduction, antibodies, peptides, immunotherapeutics, radiopharmaceuticals and novel drug delivery technologies. Previously, Dr. Alvarez served in various executive and advisory roles in the biotechnology space, contributing to the development of notable oncology products, including several of Cytogen’s commercialized drugs. Dr. Alvarez received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
