An Garda Síochána - Irelands National Police and Security Service. The Mission of An Garda Síochána is "Keeping People Safe". 100 years since the foundation of An Garda Síochána, we still uphold the vision of the 1st Garda Commissioner Michael Staines “The Garda Síochána will succeed not by force of arms or numbers, but on their moral authority as servants of the people.”
