Dr. Annie Roman holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management and possesses extensive experience in project management and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez and Ana G. Mendez University, Dr. Roman previously held significant positions at OpenText and Micro Focus, where responsibilities included managing cross-disciplinary teams and leading critical software migration projects. Earlier experience includes Project and Process Manager at Claro Puerto Rico, where Dr. Roman oversaw various sales and customer service projects, as well as District Manager and Store Manager positions, achieving notable success in sales and customer service metrics. Dr. Roman's educational background includes an MBA in Technology Management and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Management.

Ana G. Mendez University
The Ana G. Mendez University System is a not for profit institution in operations since 1949. With approximately 40,000 students it is the largest private university system in Puerto Rico. The Ana G. Mendez University System includes three traditional universities (Universidad del Turabo, Universidad Metropolitana, Universidad del Este) and a fully on-line University (AGM Virtual Campus); each one fully accredited by the Middle States Commission of Higher Education. In 2003, the Ana G. Mendez University System opened the Metro Orlando Campus in the state of Florida offering bachelors and masters degree programs from its universities in one campus and with a flexible schedule. Nowadays, the Ana G. Méndez University System is recognized for serving Hispanic adult students in the Continental United States with five campuses operating in the states of Florida, Maryland, Texas and the District of Columbia.
