Onur Ugurel

Onur Ugurel has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry, primarily with ANADOLU HAYAT EMEKLİLİK. Onur started their career there as an Internal Auditor in 2004 and worked in that role until 2011. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager, where they played an active role in establishing the Project Management Office and managing various projects, including restructuring life insurance products and implementing HP Project Portfolio Management. From 2013 to the present, Onur has held several leadership positions at ANADOLU HAYAT EMEKLİLİK, including Assistant Manager in the Department of Life Insurance, Head of Risk and Internal Control, Head of Risk Management, and currently, as the Head of Strategy and Corporate Performance Management. Their responsibilities have included improving claim management processes, evaluating claim files, determining claim approvals or rejections, and contributing to the development and maintenance of the company's project portfolio.

Onur Ugurel received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University from 1997 to 2002. Later, in 2009 and 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences from Bahcesehir University. In addition to their educational background, they hold several certifications including ESG Reporting Masterclass from Earth Academy (2023), Proje Analizi ve Fizibilite Raporlarının Hazırlanması from Deloitte Academy (2013), Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute (2013), Life Insurance Seminer from Munich Re (2009), and BES Aracı Sicili from Emeklilik Gözetim Merkezi (2008).
