Michael G. McCully

Michael G. McCully is a seasoned executive in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in developing targeted therapies for central nervous system disorders. As Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Gate Neurosciences, Inc. since December 2018, McCully is at the forefront of next-generation CNS therapies. In addition, McCully serves as President and Board Member at Anagin Inc, focusing on innovative treatments for psychiatric diseases. As Founder and Managing Director of Terranova Bioventures, McCully provides strategic advisory and investment services, having overseen over 40 transactions valued at more than $6 billion. Previous roles include Vice President at Locust Walk and Managing Director at RedLeaf Bioventures, among others, where McCully led significant deals and business development initiatives in the life sciences sector. McCully holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology and Business from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Molecular Biology from Purdue University.
