Marizel Sarmiento

Marizel Sarmiento is an experienced engineer currently serving as the Lead Layout Engineer at Analog Devices since October 2025. Prior to this role, Marizel held various engineering positions at ON Semiconductor from January 2017 to August 2025, including Principal Physical Implementation Engineer and Staff Physical Implementation Engineer. Earlier experience includes roles at Micron Technology as a Physical Implementation Engineer and Senior Layout Engineer from September 2013 to September 2016, and at Aptina UK Limited as a Senior IC Layout Engineer from July 2009 to August 2013. Marizel began the career as a Senior IC Layout Engineer at MICRON EUROPE LIMITED from May 2007 to October 2008. Marizel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Saint Paul University of the Philippines, completing studies from January 1994 to January 1999, and attended Cagayan National High School from January 1990 to January 1994.
