Jeffry Powell

Jeffry Powell is a highly experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, currently serving as Principal Physicist at Analogic since March 2003, focusing on X-ray detector arrays and technologies for Computed Tomography and Fluorescent Molecular Tomography. Prior to this role, Jeffry served as Senior Photonic Systems Engineer at Xanoptix, Inc. from March 2000 to March 2003, where responsibilities included the design and qualification of photonic systems. Jeffry's experience also includes a tenure as Senior Principal Electrical Engineer at Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, from January 1997 to March 2000, working on advanced optical and optoelectronic systems. Earlier in their career, Jeffry contributed to research in speech recognition and language translation as a Computer Scientist at IBM Research from June 1988 to September 1990. Jeffry Powell holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Princeton University.
