Matt Yardley

Matt Yardley is currently a partner at Analysys Mason, a consulting firm. Matt has over 25 years of experience in the field of explosives and dispersion modeling. Prior to their current position, Matt worked as an Explosion Scientist at Shell Research from 1995-1997. In this role, they were responsible for developing one of Shell's gas explosion modeling tools used in offshore risk assessments.

Before joining Shell Research, Matt was a researcher at the University of Manchester from 1991-1995. Matt's research focused on the scale effects of turbulence on swept aircraft wings. The research was funded by the UK Defence Research Agency.

Matt has a wealth of experience in the field of explosion and dispersion modeling. Matt's experience and expertise have made him a valuable asset to Analysys Mason.

Matt Yardley has a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, and a Distinction in Design & Designing (product design) from The Open University.
