Chris Fannin

VP, TEAMS 3 PM, Hampton GM at Analytical Mechanics Associates

Chris Fannin is currently the VP, TEAMS 3 PM, Hampton GM at Analytical Mechanics Associates. Prior to this, they worked as a Structural Analysis Specialist at Rolls-Royce from June 2002 to April 2008. In this role, they served as vibrations technical lead and coordinated analysis support for two major turbofan engine development programs. Chris also served as lead whole engine analyst, responsible for modeling, static, and fan blade-off analysis of new development turbofan engine. In addition, they performed whole engine analysis for a novel, new development, military propulsion sub-system. Chris also project managed a multi-million dollar combustor development test program for a new military turbofan engine development, coordinating team members and resources from two, partnering organizations.

Prior to their work at Rolls-Royce, Chris was the Campus Manager for recruiting at Virginia Tech from August 2000 to March 2002. Before that, they worked as an Engineering CO-OP at Framatome Technologies from January 1992 to December 1994.

Chris Fannin has a MBA from the University of Indianapolis - School of Business. Chris also has a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Chris Fannin reports to John Abrams, CEO. Chris Fannin works with Shelly Thomason - Director of Human Resources, Tom Ozoroski - Director of Systems & Concepts, and Lisa Sych - Director of Project Planning & Control.
