Kristen Carey

Kristen Carey is a Wind Tunnel Test Engineer at Analytical Services and Materials, Inc. (AS&M) since May 2022, specializing in wind tunnel operations at NASA Langley. Prior to this role, Kristen worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Old Dominion University Research Foundation from July 2020 to May 2022, focusing on Magnetic Suspension and Balance Systems (MSBS) for Entry, Descent, and Landing model testing. Additionally, Kristen served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Mechanical Engineering Tutor at Old Dominion University in 2020. Kristen holds a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, as well as an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Rappahannock Community College.
