Prerna Agarwal

Prerna Agarwal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, marketing, and rural development. Currently serving as an Ananta Aspen G P Birla Fellow at the Ananta Aspen Centre and as the Founder of Samakhya Sustainable Alternatives Pvt. Ltd., Prerna is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices. As an Acumen India Fellow since 2021, Prerna has also held leadership roles, including Acting CEO and Program Director at URMUL DESERT CRAFTS, overseeing operations for over 3,000 artisans in western Rajasthan. Additionally, Prerna led the livelihoods division at Urmul Rural Health Research & Development Trust, focusing on rural value chains. Early career experiences include positions in advertising and content writing, complemented by a solid educational background with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
