Zurab MacHaidze

Zurab Machaidze, MD has extensive work experience in clinical development and medical research. Zurab has held various roles in different companies starting from 2002 to the present. Dr. Machaidze has worked as a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development at AnaptysBio and Neurogastrx, Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing clinical studies, developing study protocols and reports, and managing cross-functional teams. Zurab also served as a Medical Director, Clinical Development at Apellis Pharmaceuticals and Associate Medical Director, Clinical Development at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals. In these positions, they provided medical and scientific input into the design of clinical trials, oversaw the planning and execution of clinical studies, and contributed to the development of clinical strategies. Prior to these roles, Dr. Machaidze had research experience in cardiac surgery at Boston Children's Hospital and transplant surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. In these positions, they were involved in developing and evaluating novel medical devices and conducting translational research studies.
