Thomas Lingel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Thomas started their career as a Research Assistant at TU Ilmenau from December 1993 to August 1999. Thomas then joined Anaren in November 1999 and held various positions including Microwave Engineer, Sr. RF/Microwave Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Manager Ferrite Products, and Principal Engineer in the Space & Defense Business Unit. From September 2003 to September 2006, Thomas served as a Guest Lecturer at Syracuse University. In January 2013, they joined Dielectric Laboratories, Inc. as the Director of Engineering until April 2016. Since May 2016, Thomas has been working at TTM Technologies, first as the Director of RF Component Engineering, and currently as the Sr. Director of Strategic Innovation Engineering.
Thomas Lingel attended Technische Universität Ilmenau from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. (MEE) degree in Fundamentals and Theory of Electrical Engineering. Thomas then continued their education at the same university from 1994 to 1998, earning a Dr.-Ing. (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Numerical Field Simulation.
