Toni Hoffmann

Toni Hoffmann's work experience includes serving as a Protein Platform Senior Scientist at Anavo Therapeutics BV since 2023. Previously, they worked at Avacta from 2014 to 2023, holding roles as a Senior Scientist in Technology Development - Therapeutics Secondment and R&D / Biosafety Officer - Diagnostics. Toni also worked at the University of Leeds as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant from 2011 to 2014, specializing in protein folding, design, and engineering. Toni was also a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Leeds from 2008 to 2011. Before that, they worked as a Doctoral Student at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology from 2002 to 2006 and as a Visiting Researcher at the Centro de Investigación Científica de Yucatán from January 2002 to September 2002, and at Colegio de Postgraduados from September 2001 to January 2002.

Toni Hoffmann completed their education in the field of Biology. They first attended The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg from 1994 to 2001, where they obtained a degree equivalent to a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biology. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the University of Potsdam from 2005 to 2007, earning a Ph.D. equivalent degree called Dr. rer. nat. in Biology.
