Howard Sharpley

Howard Sharpley serves as the Vice President of Global Customer Support and Services at Ancestry since May 2019, overseeing member services and AncestryProGenealogists. Previously, Sharpley was the Head of Customer and Partner Care at Jet.com/Walmart eCommerce from January 2018 to April 2019. With a long tenure at Discover Financial Services from 1999 to 2017, Sharpley held multiple director-level positions, including Regional Operations Director for Discover Bank and Personal Loans, and Director of Marketing Operations. In these roles, responsibilities included managing large operations centers, enhancing customer contact strategies, and producing extensive marketing materials. Sharpley's career began at MBNA America, where roles included Business Development Senior Account Executive and Southern Region Divisional Business Analyst. Sharpley holds an EMBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Delaware.
