Jim Taylor

Jim Taylor is an experienced operations executive with a robust background in production and supply chain management within various industries. As Vice President of Production Operations at Ancestry since February 2018, Jim Taylor oversees the global DNA product supply chain and laboratory operations for the leading direct-to-consumer genomics company. Prior roles include Vice President of Operations at Starrett and Vice President of Operations at Zygo Corporation, where responsibilities included managing worldwide operations and fostering a lean culture. Additionally, Jim Taylor served as Director of Optical Components Manufacturing at JML Optical Industries and held academic positions as Associate Professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Jim Taylor began an academic career after obtaining a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University.
