Paddy Deshmukh

Paddy Deshmukh holds extensive experience in engineering and product development within the technology and e-commerce sectors. Currently serving as SVP Engineering at Ancestry since August 2012, Paddy has previously held various leadership roles at the company, including VP Engineering for AncestryDNA and AncestryHealth. Prior to Ancestry, Paddy was VP Engineering at Inflection, contributing to the growth of online genealogy businesses, and co-founded Weblistic, where development focused on online advertising for small to medium-sized businesses. Earlier roles include Director of Engineering at YP and OneBuild Inc., leading significant projects in online local advertising and e-business applications, respectively. Paddy's career began at American Airlines as a Software Engineer, and the educational background includes a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics from Pune University.
