Ron Greenwood

Ron Greenwood is a Principal Software Engineer at Ancestry since March 2005, with extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining high throughput Java microservices in Kubernetes on AWS, as well as managing Amazon Aurora databases containing billions of records. Prior to Ancestry, Ron held the position of Senior Development Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Mobile Productivity, Inc. from January 2004 to March 2005, and served as Senior Software Engineer at Marketron from June 2002 to January 2004. Ron's career began at WordPerfect Corporation and its affiliated companies, where roles included Systems Administrator and Software Engineer from May 1990 to August 2002. Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University between 1986 and 1993.
