Loren Holmes

Loren Holmes is a seasoned photojournalist with extensive experience in both staff and freelance photography. Since 2012, Loren has served as a Staff Photojournalist for the Anchorage Daily News, while also maintaining a successful freelance career that began in 2005, collaborating with notable editorial clients such as The New York Times, Associated Press, and Alaska Magazine. Prior to this, Loren was a Resident Choral Artist at Anchorage Opera from 2008 to 2012. Loren holds a Master’s degree in Photojournalism from Ohio University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Carleton College.
