Daren Clayton has over 26 years of work experience. Daren started their career in 1993 as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force. In 2005, they joined American Express as a Business/Workforce Analyst where they were responsible for acquiring corporate card members and founding the Fraud Operations desk. Daren then worked as a Business Analyst in their Credit Department, overseeing real-time operations and campaign strategies. In 2014, Daren joined Ancora Education as the Manager of Workforce Management and Dialer Operations, where they manage and develops a team responsible for multiple departments and remote campuses. Since 2019, they have been working at Five9 as a Strategic Technical Account Manager.

Daren Clayton pursued their education at Arkansas State University from 1997 to 2000. During this period, they obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree with a major in Journalism. In addition to their formal education, Daren also acquired various certifications. In August 2018, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute. Daren further obtained a Five9 administrator certification from Five9 in June 2014.
