Maria Scott

Maria Scott has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Maria currently works at Ancora Education as a Project Manager, where they identify and supports continuous improvement opportunities through project participation and leadership. Maria prepares and analyzes internal and external reports, as well as develops various documents and training materials.

Prior to their current role, Maria was a Lead Career Services Coordinator at Daymar College, where they collaborated with the leadership team on interdepartmental and Career Services initiatives. Maria conducted new hire training, served as a peer mentor for the Career Services team, and acted as the point of contact in the director's absence. Additionally, Maria chaired the Event Committee for student and staff events.

Before Daymar College, Maria worked at Onsite Workshops as an Admissions Specialist, conducting interviews and evaluations to determine individuals' suitability for specific programs. Maria also provided clients and family members with information about available services and made appropriate referrals.

At Delta Career Education Corporation, Maria held multiple roles, including Associate Director of Career Services, Bridges Coordinator, and Student Government Association Sponsor. In these positions, they met with students to discuss goals, assisted in job search techniques, and promoted student support services. Maria also served as the High School and Community Relations Coordinator, where they built relationships with businesses and organizations and delivered presentations to generate interest in the programs.

Additionally, Maria worked as the Director of Career Services and Marketing at North Central Institute - NCI, where they assisted students in job search techniques and maintained student files according to standards. Maria also gained experience as a Graduate Assistant in Communications at Austin Peay State University and served on the Media Team at First Baptist Church Clarksville TN.

Earlier in their career, Maria interned at the Tampa Bay Rays in Fan Relations - RaysVision, where they gained valuable experience in a professional sports organization.
