Katie Wertz

Katie Wertz is the VP of Connections & Insights at Ancora Partners. Katie has also worked as the Senior Project Manager at Development Concepts, Inc. and Greenstreet Ltd.

Katie's focus is on bringing market and place context to each development scenario, plan, or set of strategies. Her background in urban planning allows their to focus on the intersection of a community’s economic objectives and understanding how the reconfiguration of physical space with the goal of enhancing the marketability of real estate can greatly impact their overall quality of life.

As the Senior Project Manager, Katie was responsible for managing all aspects of projects to ensure that clients received well thought out, easily digestible plans and strategies that guide their decisions and local investment in the communities where we work. Working directly with the clients allows Katie to appreciate each community’s unique position and perspective on where they want to be and provide them with the best alternatives to help them reach these goals.

Katie Wertz earned their Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Ball State University and their Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Development from Saint Louis University. Katie is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
