Matt Rommel has extensive work experience in engineering and design roles. Matt started their career at the University of Kentucky as a Design Engineer, where they collaborated on the design and prototypes of new products. Matt then joined ProTek Engineering as a Senior Design Engineer, where they managed projects from concept to completion for major companies. After that, they worked at Balluff Inc. as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, designing new products and ensuring quality parts. Most recently, they joined Ancra Cargo as a Senior New Product Development Engineer, Manager of Design Engineering, and currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering. In these roles, they have been responsible for leading teams, establishing design standards, and ensuring consistency and quality across products. Overall, Matt Rommel has a strong background in engineering and design, with a focus on mechanical and electrical design.

Matt Rommel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, which they completed from 1993 to 1997. Matt continued their education at the same university from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
