Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Sea Machines Robotics, Akhil has led projects optimizing fuel efficiency and developing path planning algorithms for marine vessels. Previous roles include Principal Embedded Controls Engineer at Locus Robotics and Manager on Duty at Short Path Distillery. Akhil's background encompasses positions as a Robotic Controls Engineer at Persimmon Technologies, Graduate Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University, and Product Design Engineer at Path Robotics, with foundational experiences at Bosch India and Alano Motors. Academically, Akhil holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor's degree from Manipal Institute of Technology.
