Howard Davis

Howard Davis is the current Chief for Data & Insight at AND Digital. Prior to this, they were with the company from July 2020 to October 2021 as Data and Business Intelligence AND Maker. Before that, they were with Freeformers from October 2016 to November 2019 as COO and FD.

In their role at Freeformers, they oversaw all financial matters including business planning, monthly and quarterly reporting, cashflow management, and overhead cost management. Howard also designed and introduced core reporting, project management, financial controls and operational systems. Additionally, they ran the annual strategic planning process which resulted in revenue growth from £1.5m to £6m over 3 years.

Howard Davis has also led a successful £1.2m equity fundraising from existing and institutional investors and secured a £600k revolving debt facility. Howard has been responsible for liaison with investors and lenders as well as board reporting and company secretarial duties. Additionally, they oversaw the annual audit and introduced R&D tax credit recovery.

At Freeformers, they also supported sales team to negotiate c. £10m of new commercial sales. Howard was the executive responsible for HR, Legal and Property and GDPR. Howard Davis led a team of 3 accountants and bookkeepers as well as a team of 8 operations staff.

Howard Davis studied Civil Engineering at the University of Warwick before going on to complete their certification from the ICAEW in FCA.
