Oren Mwaniki

Oren Mwaniki is a seasoned professional in information security with extensive experience in strategic leadership and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Information Security at Andela since September 2019, Oren has developed and maintained key security metrics, crafted compliance documentation, and empowered a remote workforce of over 1,500 staff. Previously, Oren held several pivotal roles at Safaricom PLC, including Manager of Managed Cybersecurity Services, where an award for Customer Satisfaction was received. Oren's career began at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where notable contributions included the deployment of a Health Management Information System. Oren holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Strathmore University and a Bachelor's degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
