Jenny Buchanan

Jenny Buchanan is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as the Virtual Finance Function Director and previously as Virtual Finance Function Senior Manager at AAB since September 2022. Prior to this role, Jenny held various positions including Reporting Accountant at Siccar Point Energy from October 2017 to September 2022, and Senior JV Accountant and Financial Reporting Manager at EnQuest from January 2014 to September 2017. Jenny's career began at Technip, where responsibilities included GL & Consolidation Manager, Financial Controller Consolidation, Senior Financial Accountant, and Senior Project Accountant from October 2005 to January 2014. Earlier experience includes an audit position at Ernst & Young from August 2002 to September 2005. Jenny holds a European Studies MA Hons degree in Politics & Languages from the University of Aberdeen, completed between 1998 and 2002. Educational background includes attendance at Ellon Academy.
