Lyn Calder has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Lyn is currently the Managing Partner in Edinburgh at Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP since April 2020. Lyn started their career at Clydesdale Bank PLC, where they held the positions of Senior Partner and Director of Acquisition Finance. At Clydesdale Bank, their responsibilities included managing new business relationships and arranging funding for buyouts and acquisitions.
Prior to their time at Johnston Carmichael and Clydesdale Bank, Calder worked as a Corporate Finance Executive at Alan Malcolm & Co and as an Audit Assistant and Corporate Finance Executive at Arthur Andersen. Their work experience showcases their expertise in corporate finance, including advisory services, funding arrangements, and project management.
Lyn Calder attended Dalziel High School but did not receive a degree. Later, from 1995 to 1999, Lyn pursued higher education at the University of Strathclyde, where they obtained a 1st Class Honours degree in Economics.
