Stuart McLelland

Stuart McLelland is an accomplished executive in operational excellence and transformation, currently serving as Head of Group Operational Excellence at AAB since February 2023, where responsibilities include leading Continuous Improvement and Automation projects for external clients. Previously, Stuart held significant roles such as Managing Consultant and Deputy Director at the Cabinet Office, overseeing corporate services transformation for the UK Government. At Ashurst, Stuart initiated a firm-wide Continuous Improvement program, while in various management roles at Shell, substantial contributions included leading Digital Transformation that achieved $72 million in savings and implementing an Operational Excellence program that realized savings of $280 million. Stuart's early career includes project leadership at Scottish Enterprise and IT support at GSK. Stuart holds a PGDip in Management and Finance from the University of Dundee and a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology from the University of the West of Scotland.
