Rev. Amber Riggs

Rev. Amber Riggs has a diverse work experience. Rev. Amber currently serves as the Care and Connections Pastor at The Gathering Muncie since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Watercolor Artist at WatercolorbyAmber starting from March 2020. In 2017, they served as a Substitute Teacher at Anderson Community Schools. From August 2016 to August 2023, they were a Youth ministry intern at The Gathering ChoG. Rev. Amber also worked as a Sales Associate at The Yankee Candle Company, Inc. from October 2016 to April 2017. In the past, they were involved as a Chaplain Candidate in the US Air Force Reserve from March 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, they served as a Chaplain Intern at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital from September 2014 to May 2015. Furthermore, they gained experience as a Spiritual Formation leader intern at H.E.A.R.T. hunger education and resource training from August 2011 to December 2011.

Rev. Amber Riggs obtained a Master's of Divinity in Preaching/Chaplaincy from Anderson University, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they studied church ministry at Warner University from 2007 to 2011, earning a degree in Church Ministries and Missions.
