Shannon McCarthy

Shannon McCarthy is currently serving as a Substitute Teacher with Kelly Education since March 2024. Previously, Shannon worked as Program Operations Coordinator at the Foundation for Foster Children from April 2022 to April 2023, and contributed to event staffing at Tend from June 2020 to July 2025. Shannon has extensive experience in event management, having held roles such as Event Specialist at Two Chicks and Wedding Coordinator at Just Marry!, along with an internship at The American Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival. Additional roles include Guest Service Agent at Hilton Grand Vacations and Front Desk Agent at DoubleTree by Hilton. Shannon's career began at Chipotle Mexican Grill as a Cashier. Shannon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from the University of Central Florida and is pursuing a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University.
