Francisco Valencia has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2009. Francisco started their career as an Ingeniero de Software at SIGDO KOPPERS in 2009. Francisco then moved on to Digital Consulting at Hilinks in 2010. After that, they worked as a Product Engineer at Jumping Labs in 2012 and then founded and became CEO of Fuud, the first food subscription system in Chile, which was acquired in 2014. Francisco then worked as a Product Engineer at Sterio.me, part of Startup Chile Generation 10.2, and was named by Fast Company as one of the 10 Most Innovative Companies in Africa. In 2015, they worked as a Project Engineer at Dictuc. In 2016, they founded Devontigo and in 2017 they were a Technical Project Manager at Acid Labs. Francisco then founded and was CTO of Doorlist, the top dog and an early mover in the iBuyer sector in Chile. Most recently, they became Co-Founder and CTO of Andes STR in 2021.
Francisco Valencia obtained their Ingeniería en informática degree from Universidad de Viña del Mar in 2009, and they graduated from Colegio de los Sagrados Corazones in 2002. Francisco also has several certifications, including Strategic Technology Roadmapping and Innovation from MIT Professional Education (2022), Project Planning: Putting It All Together from Coursera | Google (November 2021), Google IT Automation with Python Specialization from Coursera | Google (June 2021), Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project from Coursera | Google (June 2021), and Foundations of Project Management from Coursera | Google (May 2021).
