Frankwell Lin 林志明

Frankwell Lin 林志明 has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Frankwell is currently the Chairman & CEO of Andes Technology Corporation, a company they co-founded. Prior to this role, they served as the President of Andes Technology Corp. and was a Member of the Board of Directors at RISC-V International.

In the past, Frankwell held several leadership positions at TEIA Taiwan Embedded Industry Alliance, including Chairman and Vice Chairman. TEIA is a non-profit organization that connects various stakeholders in the embedded system value chain.

Before their involvement with TEIA, Frankwell worked at Faraday Technology Corp. for nine years, where they served as Vice President and Board Member. Frankwell played a significant role in various divisions, including ASIC business sales, backend design implementation, production service, and product engineering. Frankwell also led teams in IP business sales, display business unit, investment analysis, special task, and oversaw the company's overseas branch offices.

Frankwell began their career at UMC, where they worked as a manager for a considerable period of time.

Frankwell Lin 林志明 earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrophysics from National Chiao Tung University between 1977 and 1981. Frankwell then pursued further education at Portland State University, where they attained a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1986 to 1988.
