Debashree Roy

Debashree Roy is a highly experienced research scientist currently working at Riddet Institute, where responsibilities include designing dairy and non-dairy matrix-based projects, developing novel technologies for nutritionally superior future foods, and mentoring students and technologists. Debashree holds four patents and has contributed to organizing and judging various scientific forums and conferences. Currently, Debashree also serves as a cofounder and Agricultural Material Specialist at ANDFOODS, focusing on agricultural practices and food functionality. Previous positions include a PhD Research Scholar at Massey University specializing in food technology, and Associate Manager in Research and Development at IFFCO Group, where studies ranged from wheat quality to specialty flour applications. Debashree holds an M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from CFTRI and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
