Teresa Mercier

Teresa Mercier has a diverse work experience spanning over several different companies. Teresa started their career as a TA at the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. Teresa then joined SaskTel as a Software Developer in 2011, where they worked on maintaining legacy telecom systems and fixing issues with COBOL programs running on z/OS. Teresa then moved on to Push Interactions in 2013, where they worked as a Software Engineer specializing in Android application development and managing server infrastructure. In 2015, they joined Andgo Systems as a Software Developer, where they worked on developing and maintaining scheduling management software using the Django web framework, celery, backbone, coffeescript, javascript, and MySQL. Teresa also had additional responsibilities in managing the server infrastructure and deployment scripts. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Tech Lead, and later in 2022, they became a Senior Developer. Currently, Teresa is also a Co-Owner of Playful Pup Market Garden, a small farm-to-table operation that grows and sells fresh produce.

Teresa Mercier pursued their education at the University of Saskatchewan from 2006 to 2013. During this period, they completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Computer Software Engineering.
