Alissa C.

Alissa C. has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Alissa began their career as a Freelance Writer for Golf Course Industry Magazine in 2009 and later worked as a Freelance Writer for The Columbus Dispatch in 2010. Alissa then took on the role of Treatment Coordinator at Merion Village Dental in 2011 before transitioning to being a Freelance Writer for Live Technologies in 2012.

In 2013, Alissa joined The Country Club at Muirfield Village, where they served as the Director of Communications and later became the Director of Membership and Communications until 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Alissa worked at Urban Acupuncture Center, where they held the positions of Communications Director and Health and Wellness Coach. As a Health and Wellness Coach, they focused on helping clients understand chronic illnesses and establish long-lasting health habits.

In 2021, Alissa started their own business, Beacon Holistic Health, where they serve as the Owner and Health & Wellness Coach. Alissa specializes in addressing the root causes of ill health and providing dietary and lifestyle guidance to individuals with chronic conditions, including autoimmune diseases.

Most recently, Alissa joined AndHealth in 2022 as a Health Coach and was later promoted to the position of Senior Health Coach.

Alissa C. completed their Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations, Spanish, and Sociology at Ohio University. Alissa attended from 2005 to 2009. Later, Alissa pursued their Master's degree in Marketing & Communication at Franklin University, where they studied from 2011 to 2012.
