Asif R Khan

Asif R Khan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. Asif R is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Ando, where they are leading the growth and development of the company, focusing on creating world-class culinary experiences for Africa.

Prior to this, Asif served as the Co-Founder and Partner of Monolith Studios, a multi-disciplinary creative studio based in Nairobi, Kenya and New York City, USA. At Monolith Studios, they worked at the intersection of creativity and technology, creating immersive content for global brands.

Before their time at Monolith Studios, Asif worked as the Group Head of Marketing at Java House Africa. In this role, they were responsible for the overall sales growth and brand strategy for the group's three brands. Asif R successfully led the rebranding efforts for Java House, ensuring that customer expectations and the brand promise were met across all touch points.

Asif also has experience at WPP-Scangroup, where they served as the Business Head at Squad Digital. Asif R developed strategic visions for clients and helped them socialize the strategy within their organizations. Additionally, they identified new revenue opportunities within the context of brand, market, user, financial, and technology constraints.

Prior to their time at WPP-Scangroup, Asif held multiple roles at Squad Digital, including Head of Social Media/Community Management and Social Media/Community Management Lead. In these positions, they helped brands engage with a connected African audience and drove real conversations online for top brands.

Asif's work experience also includes a role as the Programs Coordinator on the Kenya International Film Festival in 2009, where they successfully coordinated various programs and designed the printed program for the festival.

Asif R Khan started their education in 2007 at United States International University - Africa, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Administration & Finance. Asif R completed their studies at this institution in 2010. In 2008, Asif attended Kansai Gaidai University, where they participated in the Asian Studies Program until 2009.
