Philip A. Giordano

Philip A. Giordano, MD, is Chief of Corporate Research Operations at Orlando Health, where he supervises the system’s portfolio of over 400 clinical trials and research projects in medicine, surgery, oncology and pediatrics. An active researcher himself, he has served as an investigator in over 70 sponsored clinical trials. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and currently is Vice Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. He received both his bachelor’s degree in psychology and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia and completed his emergency medicine residency at the Orlando Regional Medical Center where he currently serves as a faculty member.
