Anthony Albanese

Anthony Albanese has held a range of roles throughout their work experience. Anthony started their career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Joseph W. Bellacosa, New York State Court of Appeals from 1996 to 1998. Anthony then worked as an Associate and later became a Partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from 1998 to 2011. After that, they joined the New York State Department of Financial Services and served as the Chief of Staff and Acting Superintendent from 2011 to 2015. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at NYSE as the Chief Regulatory Officer. Currently, they are with Andreessen Horowitz as the Chief Operating Officer for a16z crypto since November 2020.

Anthony Albanese has a Doctor of Law - JD degree from St. John's University School of Law. Anthony also holds a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree from Union College.
