Doug Folden

Doug Folden is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz since December 2021, Doug advises on People Practice for Growth portfolio companies. Previously, Doug held the position of VP of People at Tradeshift, overseeing a global workforce and managing all aspects of People Strategy, Talent Acquisition, and Culture. Doug's earlier roles include VP of People & Culture at Malwarebytes, where Doug contributed to a 200% company growth, and VP Human Resources at SAP, focusing on recruitment and HR programs. With a career that includes significant positions at SAP Ariba and Ariba, Doug has also excelled as an HR leader at Apple. Doug holds a BA in Speech Communication from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, an MA in Communication Studies from San José State University, and completed the Stanford LEAD Preview program in Decision Making.
