Michele Korver

Head of Regulatory at Andreessen Horowitz

Michele Korver is the current head of Regulatory at Andreessen Horowitz. Prior to this, they served as Chief Digital Currency Advisor at the Department of the Treasury/Financial Crimes Enforcement Network from July 2021 to March 2022. Michele also served as Digital Currency Counsel at the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division from September 2017 to July 2021. Korver began their career as a law clerk at the U.S. District Courts from August 2001 to August 2003. Michele then became an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida from September 2003 to February 2007 and later for the District of Colorado from February 2007 to September 2017. In September 1991, Korver became a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service, where they worked until August 1998.

Michele Korver completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where they earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in German. Michele then went on to complete their Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude at the University of Miami School of Law.
