Sophie Stocks

Sophie Stocks is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel for Corporate Law at Andreessen Horowitz since March 2023. Prior roles include Counsel for Corporate & Technology at Hippo Insurance from November 2021 to March 2023, and Associate at Latham & Watkins from October 2019 to November 2021, where Sophie also completed a summer associate position in 2018. Earlier experience includes work as a Development Assistant and Intern at Heal the Bay and a Legislative Intern for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in 2012, where Sophie contributed to legislative research and communication. Sophie holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Italian Studies from Gettysburg College.
