Rob Edwards is the current Chief Operating Officer at Andretti Autosport. Rob has over 25 years of experience in motorsports, having previously worked as a team manager and general manager for various racing teams.
Edwards began their career in motorsports with Walker Racing in 1993. Rob spent 16 years with the team, eventually becoming their team manager. In 2009, they left Walker Racing to become the general manager of FAZZT Race Team, LLC. Rob held that position for two years before moving to Sam Schmidt Motorsports in 2011. Rob spent three years with Sam Schmidt Motorsports before joining Andretti Autosport in 2014.
Rob Edwards' educational career began at the University of Reading, where they earned a BSc. in Engineering Science & Mathematics. Rob then attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they earned a degree in business.
They are on a team with Doug Bresnahan - Chief Marketing Officer, Marissa Andretti - VP, Andretti Autosport & MD, Andretti Technologies, and JF Thormann - President. Their manager is Michael Andretti, Chief Executive Officer & Chairman.
