Kayla Cornejo-Clough has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2007, they began their career as a Sales Associate at Nordstrom, where they excelled until 2013. During this time, they also gained valuable marketing experience as an intern at Spurs Sports & Entertainment and San Antonio Magazine in 2010 and 2009, respectively.

In 2013, Kayla joined USAA as an Auto Adjuster, where they evaluated and estimated settlements for first and third-party damage claims. Kayla provided exceptional customer service while documenting and addressing automobile settlements. After two years, they became a Total Loss Representative, responsible for handling total loss claims and explaining procedures to customers. Kayla's experience at USAA ended in 2015.

Later in 2015, they joined Dave & Buster's Inc. as a Corporate Sales Consultant, where they worked until 2018. In this role, they used their sales expertise to drive corporate sales and manage client relationships.

Most recently, Kayla worked at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games, starting as a Senior Sales Manager in 2018. Kayla was promoted to Regional Sales Manager in February 2020, demonstrating their strong performance in sales and management. Kayla has a proven track record in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in a variety of industries.

Kayla Cornejo-Clough, CTA, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, which they obtained from The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including "Becoming an Impactful and Influential Leader," "Building Your Visibility as a Leader," "Coaching and Developing Employees," "Developing Your Team Members," "Leadership Mindsets," and "Sales: Closing Strategies." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in March 2021. Kayla Cornejo-Clough is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA), which they obtained through Visit San Antonio.
