Drake McHugh has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Drake started their career as a Party Host at Main Event, ensuring smooth and enjoyable events for guests. Drake then worked as a Lifeguard at Splashtown Houston, where they were responsible for staffing and managing lifeguard rotations. Drake also worked as a Lifeguard at Conroe Independent School District, maintaining a safe environment and managing the front desk.
In 2018, Drake joined H-E-B as an App Cloud Intern, where they gained experience in writing applications within Salesforce and worked with Scrum/Agile methodologies. Since 2018, they have been working at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, starting as a Lead Game Technician and later transitioning to roles such as Amusement Manager and Lead Support Engineer. Currently, they serve as the IT Support Manager, leading a team that provides support across multiple locations in the United States. In this role, Drake is responsible for maintaining efficient support flow, developing in-house applications, and ensuring business needs are met. Throughout their career, Drake has demonstrated their technical skills, leadership abilities, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Drake McHugh obtained their Private Pilots License from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2014. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Louisiana Tech University, where they focused on Professional Aviation. Later, from 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
