William Storms

William Storms has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. William is currently working as the Managing Director, Product Manager, and Strategy at Andrew Davidson & Co., Inc. In this role, they manage the product team, systems, financial engineering, and marketing resources for the creation of the AD&Co US High Yield Mortgage Credit bond index. William also conceived, designed, and implemented LoanKinetics, the firm's flagship whole loan analytical platform.

Prior to their current role, William Storms worked for Renewable Funding from 2010 to 2013 as the Manager, Finance Company. William set up the finance company, oversaw risk management, and participated in structuring of PACE ABS to finance obligations. William also studied and modeled PACE defaults, credit losses, and prepayments.

From 2008 to 2009, they were an RMBS Portfolio Manager at New York Life/McMorgan.

During their tenure at Andrew Davidson & Co., Inc. from 1996 to 2007, William Storms served as a Hedge Fund Manager and Consultant. William was a founding partner of Vectors Research Management Opportunities Fund, where they raised capital and built infrastructure. William managed RMBS, MBS, and derivatives portfolio, generating double-digit returns.

Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President Institutional Sales at Nomura Securities International, Inc. from 1994 to 1996, and as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch from 1985 to 1994.

William Storms obtained a Certificate in Quantitative Finance from the New York Institute of Finance in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics from the University of South Carolina from 1994 to 1996. Their education journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of South Carolina, which they completed from 1980 to 1984.
