Gary Cook

Gary Cook is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background spanning over three decades in various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Andrews Cooper since 2016, Gary specializes in mechanical engineering and design of consumer and commercial products. Previous roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at Gary Cook Design LLC, where services focused on mechanical design, structural analysis, and engineering documentation for the electronics and aerospace sectors. Gary has held contract positions at Rockwell Collins and FLIR Systems, contributing to the design of components for aviation and thermal imaging products, respectively. Earlier in the career, Gary was involved in mechanical design for Hewlett-Packard, Novellus Systems, and served as Senior Mechanical Engineer at both South Mountain Technologies and InFocus Corporation, with a strong emphasis on developing innovative solutions for projectors and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. From 1990 to 1997, Gary operated a self-employed design firm, offering mechanical design services to the computer and electronics industries.
